Dear Colleagues,
As editors for the chapter on Evolution of the Field of Photograph Conservation to be included in the monograph “Significance, Use, and Conservation of Photograph and Image Collections” part of the Routledge Series in Conservation and Museology, we are collecting information on workshops and training initiatives focused on photograph preservation and conservation. We hope to gather relevant information to grasp as full a scope as possible of workshops in all parts of the world over the last four decades or more.
To that end, it would be wonderful if you would take 15 to 25 minutes to complete the questionnaire linked here. One questionnaire should be completed per workshop on a different topic. Similar workshops can be represented by one questionnaire with the various dates indicated.
We greatly value your time and are truly grateful for your important contribution to help define how short-term training in photograph conservation and preservation for conservators, collection keepers and the public has progressed and changed not only over time but also in all parts of the world.
Your privacy is important to us. Your data is protected and will not be shared beyond this research group. It would be wonderful if you could complete the survey before June 22th, 2021, that would be ideal, but let us know if you need more time. With your help, we hope to trace this important aspect of the evolution of the field.
Thank you for your time and expertise!
